CHDOITCH

CHDOITCH is a collective project that brings together twenty-six prominent figures shaping modern-day Switzerland, including Murat Yakın, Thomas Hirschhorn, Peter Fischli, Tanja Grandits, Milo Rau, Jacques Herzog, Klaudia Schifferle and Carla Juaçaba. Each one involves an instruction that the public is invited to interpret and carry out, either alone or in groups: observing, cooking, building, repairing, celebrating… Drawing on the local expression ‘faire Chaux-de-Fonds’ (the Chaux-de-Fonds way) and the ‘Do it’ project, CHDOITCH invites the public to take part in a collective reflection on the ways in which we shape our society. An instruction will be issued every other Sunday in 2027.
