Open air Locarno Film Festival

On la place du Marché, in collaboration with the Locarno Film Festival, a screen appears, rows of seats line up. A bit like a Piazza Grande, La Chaux-de-Fonds style. We keep something warm for nightfall. The city becomes the backdrop: laundry hangs from windows, neighbors come out onto balconies, some watch, others listen. The film begins, drawing us away from our daydreams. With a drink in hand, spritz or lemonade, we settle in. The days are long, and so are the evenings.
