La Manifattura is a territory-based art-and-food project. In this project, Floriane Facchini uses fresh pasta-making, the creation of drinks called “topiques”, and the observation of local edible wild plants as tools for collective creation, sharing know-how, and reflecting on food democracy and social struggles through the plate. The artist will offer workshops on local issues linked to the theme of struggle through the plate. These Labs will welcome around fifteen people. Floriane invites local residents and aims to bring together a group—a complicit collective—present throughout her project to carry out shared research that is open, engaged, and rooted in the heart of the city.

Née à Rome, Floriane Facchini est auteure, metteuse en scène et artiste culinaire. Formée en dramaturgie à l’Université de Rome puis à la FAI-AR à Marseille, elle développe depuis 2013 un travail à la croisée des arts vivants, du territoire et de l’alimentation. Nourrie par une approche anthropologique, elle enquête sur les pratiques culinaires et agricoles. Ses créations interrogent les enjeux politiques et sociétaux liés à l’alimentation. Artiste associée à plusieurs scènes nationales, elle dirige les projets de recherche-création A TAVOLA! et ARTS.
