With Rando(m), yellow signs usually meant to guide hikers break free from their function. Animated by a life of their own, they spin freely, varying direction, speed and synchronisation. The installation questions our relationship to the path, to orientation and to choice: which direction to take, and why? Their unpredictable movements blur our bearings and invite everyone to choose their own trajectory. Here, losing your bearings is no longer a mistake: it may simply be another way to find your way.
Focus on: collective
Mouvement Studio comprises Pauline Saglio (1989), Joëlle Aeschlimann (1989), Mathieu Rivier (1986), and Sébastien Matos (1996). At the intersection of design, craftsmanship, and technology, the collective conceives interactive installations and scenographies where the tangible and the virtual meet. Mechanics, kinetics, interfaces, and digital systems become the tools for sensory and playful experiences, inventing new forms of storytelling.
