Hannah Weinberger deploys a series of large-scale animal onomatopoeias along the avenue leading to the former slaughterhouses. “Wouaf”, “meuh”, “cot cot”: reduced to their most basic expression, the animals reappear through their cries. The intervention thus brings back, with humor and a slight strangeness, an animal presence that has disappeared from this neighborhood. As one approaches the former slaughterhouses, the avenue seems to gradually repopulate.
