Your Turn puts play into play. Nine oversized sculptures: hourglass, pawn, chess piece, skittle, bomb, roly-poly toy… transform public space into a field of experimentation. Time, chance, strategy, skill, conflict or resilience are no longer merely represented: they are practiced. Visitors can sit on, touch, walk around, play with the works or activate them during journeys and performances. The public thus moves from the role of spectator to that of player.

Born in 1980 in Basel, Florian Graf studied visual arts at the Edinburgh College of Art and architecture at ETH Zurich, before continuing his training at the Royal Drawing School in London and in Chicago. His work is exhibited internationally in museums, galleries, and public spaces. A winner of the Swiss Art Award, the Werkbundpreis, and the Prix Visarte, he is also represented in numerous leading collections.
