With this monumental work, the Capital experience begins as soon as you arrive at the station. Created by Tenko, this seven-by-two-metre painting offers a vision of La Chaux-de-Fonds that goes beyond mere representation. The artist has created a contemporary dreamscape of textures and colours, where intimate memories, everyday life and poetic vision converge. An artwork that captures the complexity of our times, the diversity of faces and stories, as well as the landscapes surrounding the city and the invisible energies that flow through it.

Educated at Lycée Maximilien de Meuron in Neuchâtel and then at the School of Applied Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Tenko, aka Benjamin Taillard, received awards at the Biennial of the Musée des beaux-arts de La Chaux-de-Fonds, including the Huguenin-Dumittan Foundation Prize and the Jury Prize. His works are now held in several public collections, including those of FCAC Geneva, the Musée des beaux-arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds and the Canton of Neuchâtel.
